Where I store all my rants, wishes, and recommendations for the game, Project Zomboid.
Warning: I am heavily obsessed with this game.
Topic:The Welding II Book and My Bi-Polar Luck. 2026-05-26
So, one fateful day, in project zomboid, I wanted to get to level 4 welding. So I think to myself, I should get the book, I don't have much propane, better make it last, yknow? So I venture out of the woods where I built my home, and I pack my stepvan ready.
As one man on reddit once told someone, Chevalier Stepvan + Speed Demon, Kentucky's your oyster.
So, here I was starting off at the Crossroads Mall, which I have cleared out mostly. I went to both the Tool Store, Book Naked, and then Worm of Books nearby. Nothing. I head to Westpoint, And go to thier Tool Store, Enigma Books, and then thier school. Nothing still. In fact, all I find is Welding I and Welding III, almost like the Zomboid Gods are taughting me.
Nevertheless, I prevail. I plan out a route from town to town to find the book. Start off in Westpoint, make my way to Muldraugh, then Rosewood, Fallas Lake, and finally, Riverside. And guess what? Nothing, I went through every towns Storage Units, Schools, Tool Stores, and Book Stores, and still nothing but Welding I and Welding III. What a joke.
Stuck in Riverside, I make a last effort to find the singluar book I needed, by going to all the rich homes in the gated community. I start off on the first street in the upper sector of the gated community, and get this.
I find 5 Generators out of 8 homes. Great, just my bi-polar luck.
I decide I'm heading home, and make my way along the river to get home back near West point. Just my luck, In total I found 12 Generators, and took back 5, so I'm set for life.
